Growing & Loving – The Kim’s Oahu Family Portrait
There’s something so heart-melty about seeing familiar faces again for an Oahu family portrait! Especially when those faces belong to the ever-lovely Kim family! Returning clients are kind of our love language, and the moment we spotted them on Oahu’s sandy shores again, we knew this session was going to be something special.
And it was.
The light? Absolute perfection. That kind of glowy softness that makes everything (and everyone) look beautiful. And the Kims brought their signature warmth, joy, and easy affection!

And can we talk about their little one for a second? Our jaws nearly dropped, he’s grown! Not just taller (although definitely that), but more confident, more expressive, and still carrying that sweet spark we remembered. Watching him interact with his parents was like watching a highlight reel of family love: goofy giggles, gentle hugs, and spontaneous moments of connection that we couldn’t have planned if we tried. Waialae Beach provided the perfect setting for a calm, relaxed Oahu portrait session, as you can see! What more do you need?
They all looked so lovely, effortlessly coordinated and glowing with the kind of relaxed happiness that only happens when you’re somewhere you love, with the people you love. This wasn’t just a portrait session; it was a celebration of how much life has unfolded since we last saw them. And on that note, how their family is growing!
