In memory of their loving grandparents, The Hager’s Maui family portrait was a surprise for Amanda’s mom! So, naturally, we were delighted to be there! Unfortunately, their grandparents passed away within the last few years and Amanda’s mother is now taking their extended family on a Hawaiian vacation to carry on the tradition! It was a happy yet nostalgic moment, and we were honored to photograph their holiday tradition!

Old And New Memories

Their loving family was joined by their extended family, who was just as excited to be in Hawaii! They wanted to capture their Maui family portrait with their extended family and their individual ones since they all have their own kids! It was so fun to see how warm and close they all are – so many cousins too for the little ones to play with!

So many grandkids too! Their kiddos love playing in the sand and beach together! Their great-grandparents would be so proud and pleased to see this tradition continued!

The Hagers have been to Hawaii many times…and their photos show their sheer joy to return to a place that means so much to them and their grandparents!

The location for their Maui family portrait is the beautiful DT Fleming Beach. This spot is known for its natural lava rock formations and soft, beautiful light at sunset, as you can see in these photos!
