The Harlans are a bunch of five visiting the island from Corpus Christi, Texas. Dena, her husband, Matthew, and their three children had new adventures and got to soak up the warm weather. Most importantly, you can see their toothy grins and joyful expressions in every picture. We have no doubts this charming family was savoring their time in Hawaii!
Why We Adore Their Beach Portraits in Kauai
When the Harlans arrived at the shore, we knew we were about to capture some remarkable shots during this session! Our delightful family was ready to have some fun — they were so energetic and high-spirited. Not to mention, their attire is ideal for this photoshoot. The vibrant shades in their relaxed but tropical outfits complement the natural tones surrounding them. However, our favorite thing about these pictures is how lighthearted they all are. We love how this bunch wasn’t afraid to be playful with their poses, creating some dynamic images!
Anini Beach was the perfect location for these Kauai portraits! Since this Texan family is from a coastal town, they didn’t want their backdrop to look like home. Then Matthew wanted mountains, while Dena wanted palm trees to decorate the background. We like this location because it has a variety of breathtaking landscapes! Lush palm trees, dramatic mountains, and cerulean waves are a few we took advantage of during this session.
