Heather and Katie knew they wanted to have a small and intimate celebration when they tied the knot. After brainstorming potential locations, they decided Hawaii would be the perfect location. Then after some research, they knew which island they wanted to get married on! Their Maui elopement photography reflects their special day; every shot is happy, exciting, and carefree. Our charming couple’s story began when they met online. Heather and Katie’s first date lasted for six hours — they say it was love at first sight! During Halloween in 2021, Heather staged a photo shoot at their home. Yet, it was just part of her plan to trick Katie! Instead of putting her phone on the camera, she put it in video mode and began recording. Then Heather got down on a knee and pulled a ring out of her back pocket. Above all, her favorite part of this moment was capturing Heather’s raw reaction!
The Tranquil Maui Elopement Photography
Around Christmas time in 2021, Heather had a tough day at work but returned home to a romantic surprise! A four-course meal and candles were waiting for her — Heather says Katie went the whole nine yards. After dinner, Katie handed Heather a long skinny box. Inside was a spoon that said, “will you marry me?” Then, when Heather looked up, Katie was on one knee with the most beautiful ring she’d ever seen!
Heather and Katie had two engagements; both were heartfelt, unique, and perfect! Then their Maui elopement was just as extraordinary. You can see every meaningful moment in their photography captured by Angelica!
Currently, Heather is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, while Katie is a US Border Patrol Agent! Our adventurous pair loves spending time together with their family and friends! Whether they’re doing the dishes or traveling — Heather and Katie make every task fun!
