While the Katakis family was on the island, they took some Oahu beach portraits to remember their getaway. In every picture, you can tell they were relishing their time in Hawaii with one another. The Katakis family is a group of four visiting Hawaii from Danville, California! Melissa, her husband, Andrew, their ten, and six-year-old daughters were vacationing in Oahu for the second time. However, this was our third time meeting up with this bunch! We’ve taken portraits of the Katakis on Maui two times before this session. It was so wonderful to see this quartet on a new island!
The Enchanting Oahu Beach Portraits
Our charming family was most looking forward to capturing Hawaii’s beauty and having pictures with everyone in them! In every shot, you can see their radiant smiles and joyful expressions. There’s no denying this group is enjoying their tropical getaway together. Then, we adore how boho-chic they dressed for this session! The deep shades of blue and ivory complement the organic palette of the beach. Most importantly, our favorite thing about these pictures is how lighthearted and sweet they are.
Paradise Cove Beach in Ko Olina was the location for these Oahu portraits, and we couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop! The sunset’s golden glow made every picture look enchanting. Surrounding our delightful family are aqua waves, white sand, and soaring palm trees. Not to mention, the calm waters were perfect for these little ones to play in and chase fish!
