This session was the Kim family’s first professional outdoor shoot! While capturing their beach portraits in Maui, fluffy clouds sat in the sky as the cerulean waves flowed onto the shore. The Kims were vacationing on the island from Los Angeles, California. Christina, her husband, Paul, and their two sons took a tropical getaway to celebrate three birthdays! Both children were born after Christina’s party thirteen and seven years ago. Above all, we can’t imagine a better way to commemorate three monumental occasions than in Maui!
However, this trip was remarkable because this was almost everyone’s first time experiencing the Aloha State. Although Christina visited a long time ago, the rest of her household hasn’t. You can see their delighted expressions in every shot — we can tell they love Maui and are having a great time on the island!
The Location For The Beach Portraits in Maui
Polo Beach was the backdrop for this session, and we took advantage of every landscape at this spot! The lofty palm trees, lush greenery, and beige sand create a magical scene. Then the striking rock formations and cerulean water paired with the silky clouds are a dreamy background. Not to mention, the mountains in the distance only enhance the enchanting ambiance of every picture!
After this session, we know the Kims will have plenty of beautiful memories from this trip. Their Maui beach portraits are lighthearted, scenic, and tranquil. We took a variety of posed and candid photos of this charming bunch! Lastly, our enthusiastic quartet was adventurous. They sat on the rock formations and explored the shore with us for every breathtaking view. Now, every shot effortlessly showcases the natural beauty of the island!
