As Maui family photographers, we love capturing the special moments of a family simply enjoying our beautiful island. With a total of FOUR birthdays to celebrate, the Lachs felt this vacay was the perfect opportunity to snap some treasured photos. And we couldn’t agree more!

Although the Lachs all hail from the Midwest, finding the time and space to gather in one place has been especially difficult over the years. In fact, this was the first time on vacation they’ve ever had photos of their entire crew professionally taken. For this session, we opted for a nearby locale–just beyond the family’s front door, actually! The grassy terrace outside their condo set the stage, which was both tropical and incredibly convenient. It was perfect for capturing the island look they’d dreamed about, featuring a blanket of palms and a cute little beach just a stroll away.

Not only did Mary (the family matriarch) just celebrate a big birthday, but little Ella turned 4 only two days before the shoot! How cute is this fam?!

We’re loving these sweet faces! Both kiddos were such a joy to work with! Being Maui family photographers means we get to hang out with awesome little ones like these… You won’t hear us complaining–this is what we love to do! Keep scrolling for more fun pics of the whole crew!
