It was a sunny day when we met up with the Lee Ohana for their family portraits on Oahu. This was the Lees first trip to the island, and we were thrilled to get to know this awesome family of three! We felt Waialea Beach Park was the perfect spot to capture this trio beneath swaying palms and the aqua shimmer of the ocean.
The Family Portraits in Oahu
As a small family, the Lee Ohana is especially close. Hannah loves spending time with her parents as they all try new foods, meet new people, and travel to new places. And the opportunity to capture family portraits in Oahu was the perfect way to commemorate this trip! Not to mention add a beautiful touch to their photo wall, since all their prior family photos were taken in a studio. You just can’t beat the experience of being barefoot on the sand with the hum of the ocean whispering in your ear!
It was a mellow morning the day of our photo session. The sea calmly lapped in the background as we got to work framing this beautiful family against the tropical backdrop. This may be the Lees first time in Hawaii, but Mom and Dad are no strangers to the tropical scenery. Having grown up in Indonesia, this sweet couple felt right at home beneath the warm sun with the salty ocean breeze in their hair.
We love the earthy tones and pops of vibrant colors the Lees sported for their family portraits in Oahu. Hannah’s sundress perfectly ties in Mom and Dad’s subtle hues. These three complete each other in more ways than one! It was great to get to know this one-of-a-kind family and spend the morning exploring the shore together!
