The Lim’s currently live in Washington state but dream of moving to Hawaii and living the aloha lifestyle. They wanted to get an Oahu Family Portrait to capture this special trip to the place they love.
The Lim family can’t get enough of the Islands’ laid back environment. They dream about spending time outdoors and playing in the ocean as a family. It may be a bit before they can move to Hawaii, but in the meantime, they have plans to visit all the Hawaiian islands. Kauai is next up as they have already been to Maui and Oahu.
The Location
We met them at one of our favorite spots for family portraits on Oahu, Waimanalo Bay Beach. This gorgeous beach is nature at it’s finest. White sand, mountains in the distance and a green forest of ironwood trees next to the beach.
We met them just before sunset and the clouds made the light SO pretty, that soft dreamy light is what this location is known for. At the end of the Oahu beach portrait session, we were able to capture some color in the sky as the sunset over the mountains. Truly epic!
We just loved meeting this sweet Ohana and hope to see them back in the islands as soon as possible, enjoying that aloha lifestyle! 🙂
