We’re thrilled to expand our horizons and embark into the wonderful world of Maui business portraits! For our most recent session, we had the pleasure of meeting up with Brittany C. Smith, the talented owner of two Maui-based businesses — one for professional home organization and decluttering (Zensmith), and the other for hand-made fashion (Wandara Outfitters). Brittany came across our ad for headshots on Facebook and took us up on our limited time Maui business portraits. And the result was professional headshots with personality and style!
Brittany is a talented seamstress who offers “Handmade, slow fashion for the eco-conscious closet” through her Maui company, Wandara Outfitters. It was clear that she takes her craft very seriously. Brittany’s residence in Haiku was ideal for capturing her Maui business portraits because it perfectly reflected her organized and straightforward approach.
Which makes a lot of sense, considering Brittany is not only a clothing designer but a transformational home organizer! Her business, Zensmith, works with individuals and families to “bring clarity of purpose into home and life by utilizing ancient and modern modalities of efficiency which promote the creation of space, stillness, and sanctuary.”
We had a wonderful time navigating Brittany’s well-balanced household to find dynamic backdrops for her professional headshots on Maui.
During business portrait sessions, we seek out compositions that illuminate and accent our client’s own unique persona. Brittany came ready with an idea for poses and outfits in mind, and we were thrilled to help her capture inviting headshots that showcased her keen eye and artistic sensibilities.
We had spare time following our Maui business portrait session, so we offered some additional candid-style photography for social media use. Brittany loved the idea, and we were thrilled to capture her glowing laugh and vivid energy!
