We had so much fun taking this couple’s Maui Destination Wedding Photography, and especially loved hearing their love story! These two actually got engaged while on Maui last year, and we can’t get over how Travis proposed! He decided to be adventurous and pop the question while repelling at a waterfall in Hana. But just as he was about to pull out the ring, he dropped it! He somehow managed to find it (without her noticed) and proposed away! And Marissa obviously said “yes” 🙂 .

Wedding Venue

Besides having an epic love story, these two also had an absolutely epic wedding day! They wisely chose to get married at The Steeple House, which is one of our favorite venues for so many reasons. For starters, this outdoor ceremony location is jaw-dropping good! With majestic views from all sides, it really is an incredible place to say, “I do”. It’s also conveniently located right by one of the best beaches for wedding portraits! Sound too good to be true?
