The McKenzies are a beautiful family of four vacationing on the island from Richmond, Texas. Brandi, her husband, Gilbert, and their two adorable sons were visiting Hawaii for the first time. Since they haven’t taken group portraits with their youngest son — they knew this getaway was the time for a session. We couldn’t agree more. A photo shoot amidst the dramatic mountains and lush greenery is perfect for remembering your adventures and Oahu’s tranquil vibe!
Why We Love Their Oahu Beach Portraits
These kiddos were a joy to photograph! Brandi and Gilbert’s oldest son is five years old, while the youngest is two. They were energetic and sweet during this session. Most of all, we had fun capturing their personalities on camera! Although the oldest can be shy around strangers, he quickly warmed up to their photographer and showed off his pearly whites. Then the youngest was a little charmer throughout this sunset photo shoot; he wasn’t afraid to give us his biggest smile!
Kualoa Beach Park is a great location to capture Oahu portraits because you get the best of both worlds! On one side, you have the epic mountains and vivid greenery. Then, on the other, you have the magical seaside and ivory sand. In addition, this spot looks gorgeous whether it’s overcast or sunny! During this session, heavy clouds were covering the sky. However, they enhanced the dreamy ambiance and enchanting feel of each photo!
