Worth the Wait – Michael & Brittny’s Maui Proposal Portrait

This Maui proposal portrait at Ironwoods Beach was the perfect next chapter for Michael and Brittny, a love story that began when neither of them was looking for one.

They met unexpectedly in June 2023 through Michael’s cousin, who happened to be Brittny’s best friend at the time. Both were fresh out of relationships and a little unsure about dating again. Still, curiosity won. One first date turned into a whole night of talking and laughing, and they quickly realized how closely their values aligned. Three years later, after career changes, new cities, nursing school, the NCLEX, and plenty of life’s highs and lows, they had become completely inseparable.

Brittny knew a proposal was somewhere on the horizon, which only made Michael’s mission to surprise her that much sweeter. Ironwoods Beach could not have been a more beautiful setting for the moment. They wandered from the lush greenery down to Maui’s dramatic rocky coastline before making their way onto the sand. Then Michael dropped to one knee, Brittny’s reaction said everything, and suddenly their anniversary trip had a brand-new reason to celebrate. Between the turquoise water, windswept kisses, and that newly sparkling ring, these two looked very ready for whatever comes next.
