Mickey and Bryan are such an amazing couple and we had so much fun going on an adventure with them for this Maui Couples Portrait session! Having taken photos with Karma 10 years ago at Makena Beach and then photos in Paia 5 years ago, they really wanted something different this time around. So when we started thinking about a unique location with beautiful landscape, Olowalu Beach immediately came to mind and it did not disappoint by any means! The mountains adjacent to the ocean and private beach was a perfect intimate setting for their anniversary photos 🙂 .
Mickey is a photography teacher (how awesome is that?!) so summer is the perfect time for them travel. And they try to come to Maui every five years since it holds an extra special place in their hearts! Having gone to school for photography and having a passion for the art, a portrait session with her husband is an annual tradition that is really important to her! And we totally understand, support, and appreciate this tradition!
There’s nothing better than capturing love and memories year after year to hang in a home.
