We recently had the pleasure of capturing the Page family on their family vacation! It wasn’t just any ordinary family getaway; James and Nelisa are also celebrating their 20th anniversary! They were so excited to be in Hawaii and create new memories in paradise together. These Maui family portraits will be lovely keepsakes to bring home to treasure forever!
We love they all wore white for their beach family portrait! White is one of our favorite colors for a portrait session on the beach. It’s fresh and bright and perfectly compliments the white sand and blue waters. White is classic and timeless, don’t you think?
The Pages love exploring nature and all things adventure, and Hawaii offers all that and more! Their girls, Zoe and Riley, had so much fun during our shoot, laughing and giggling down Kanaha Beach on the North Shore. Even though Nelisa broke her ankle a few weeks prior, she was in great spirits and made it work! She was a real trooper! Despite that disappointment, we think we captured some incredible family moments they will remember forever!
The way the light filters through the trees in these Maui family portraits is everything! The light is so magical and ethereal. These enchanting portraits are why we love photographing at the golden hour! Even though it was a little windy, it added a playful element to their portraits…
