Sand, Sun, and So Much Fun – The Pazmany’s Maui Family Portrait

Some moments are just pure, sun-soaked happiness—and the Pazmany family’s Maui family portrait session at DT Fleming Beach was basically bottled joy.

Picture this: three best friends, two of them sisters, plus their wonderful, energetic families, all together on one of Maui’s most beautiful beaches. A whole crew of giggling, racing, sand-covered kids burst onto the beach, turning the session into a laugh-until-your-sides-hurt, cheeks-aching-from-smiling kind of day instead of a “pose perfectly” moment.

And honestly? We wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Three Families, Endless Memories

The Pazmany crew is made up of Peter and Nikki, their 10-year-old daughter Scarlett, and twin 8-year-old boys, Carson and Cole—who brought all the boy energy you could possibly imagine (and then some). Then there’s the Thornton family—Shane and Jessica (who is Nikki’s sister!) with their two adorable little ones, Crosby (3) and Jules (1.5). And let’s not forget the Mendoza family—Ryan and Melissa, with Isla (3) and Evan (1.5), completing this picture-perfect circle of chaos and love.

This wasn’t just a Maui family portrait session. It was a celebration of friendship, family, and the kind of bond you feel in your bones. The kind that looks like shared sunscreen, inside jokes, and wild sprints down the beach chasing after a flying sun hat.

A Beach Day to Remember

DT Fleming Beach gave us the dreamiest setting: sparkling ocean, golden sand, and a soft pastel colors.

We captured everything! From sweet, posed family portraits to the in-between moments where kids smiled and posed, and showed off their personalities. They all did an amazing job! And it’s not easy to pose for portraits when all you want to do is play on the beach!

The light? Soft pastel perfection. Soft and warm, it wrapped around every hug and every giggle. It made each photo feel like the best kind of sunny memory.
