We had the pleasure of photographing the Pechota’s wedding on Southside Beach years ago and Heidi’s maternity portraits too! Now that they returned with their kids, they wanted to mark this memorable vacation by booking a portrait session with us again! And it feels so special for us as a team of Maui family photographers to be a part of their pinnacle life moments! Despite the overcast sky, their energy was infectious, as you will see below!
Jalen, Colin, and Lucy were so excited to be on the beach finally – and that’s worthy of a big kiss! How lucky is darling Lucy to have two doting big brothers!
We love how everyone coordinated with a pop of pink and cream. It created a fun, playful feel throughout their session making our job as a Maui family photographer all the more enjoyable!
Clearly, their kids are their pride and joy…and they bring so much playful and happy energy to their lives! Their personalities shine through in every portrait! Nothing beats seeing a loving family like theirs playing and laughing together on the beach…

It was a special moment for both Heidi and Dominic as their love story came full circle with these candid moments on the very same beach where they were married years ago. It’s amazing how time flies when you’re enjoying life with your loved ones by your side! Southside Beach is our team’s favorite portrait location pick, and we can safely guess it is for these two too!
