Some trips feel extra special, and for the Pitt family, this one absolutely did. Their Maui family portrait session at Polo Beach wasn’t just about taking beautiful photos, it was about sharing one of their favorite places with their kids for the very first time. And honestly? It was pure joy from start to finish.
Brent and Cristianna have visited Maui many times before, but this was their very first trip bringing Charlie, who just turned 8, and Nora, who’s eagerly approaching her 5th birthday this November. Seeing the island through their kids’ wide-eyed wonder made everything feel brand new again, like rediscovering a place you love, but with a whole new kind of magic.
The morning light at Polo Beach was absolutely glowing. The ocean sparkled, the palm trees swayed in that gentle island breeze, and the kids? They were having the time of their lives. There was laughter, plenty of sand between tiny toes, and so many sweet moments of pure, unfiltered happiness!
Brent and Cristianna, celebrating their 9th anniversary, watched their kids soak it all in, splashing in the waves, giggling together, and making memories they’ll treasure forever. And we got to capture every moment: the laughter, the hand-holding, the big hugs, and those spontaneous bursts of joy that only happen when you’re fully in the moment.
These aren’t just family portraits, they’re pages in the Pitt family’s story. The kind you frame, look back on, and remember exactly how it felt. A perfect Maui evening full of sunshine, laughter, and love. We love candid moments like these! They are so free, so effortless, and so real…moments worth cherishing as their kiddos grow. And we are all for getting a little sandy and wet during an epic Maui sunset portrait like the Pitts! You just can’t plan for moments like this!
Mahalo to the Pitts family! It was so much fun capturing your beautiful family! Congratulations on 9 amazing years! Here’s to many more! Enjoy sharing the island with your kiddos! Have a great time!
