We were thrilled to capture the Ramirez’s Oahu family beach portrait. The backdrop to their early morning beach portrait session was at Waialae Beach Park, just outside of Honolulu. It was the family’s first visit to the island and like many first-timers to Hawaii, there were nothing but smiles all around!
Originally from California, Jenny and Daniel knew they wanted to finally make it over to Hawaii to celebrate their sweet daughter London’s second birthday. She is so bubbly and loved being in front of the camera as you can tell – not camera shy in the least! We were honored to capture her special day in paradise!
It was a gorgeous day at Waialae Beach Park, the water was so calm and tranquil at the beach for their family portrait. We love shooting in the early mornings – the light is always so soft and beautiful. If you are looking for a secluded and scenic spot for an Oahu family portrait this is the spot! The powdery, white sand and the gentle breeze make this a perfect location for a family portrait session. We also love this location because there are so many different backgrounds to choose from. What was more special is that they had the beach all to themselves! While they were on Oahu, they stayed at the Ritz Carlton Waikiki but they were happy to escape the crowds for an intimate moment together. Keep scrolling to see their secluded spot…
Their Oahu family portrait session marked the beginning of many Hawaiian vacations together. They loved experiencing both a peaceful and fun getaway for their daughter’s birthday!
