Our Couple’s Story

Larissa and Colin are two of a kind – they both love video gaming and reading, so naturally, it was a match at the first meeting! The seclusion and natural beauty that Maui offers made it the perfect wedding destination for the couple. Larissa is a healthcare worker and Colin works for a tech company. Their sunset ceremony was at Gannon’s in Kihei, overlooking Maui’s south shore. We love shooting this wedding location because it offers privacy and a gorgeous ocean view. This spot is ideal for panoramic wedding photography, especially at sunset!

Per traditional Hawaiian custom, the bride and groom receive tropical leis for the ceremony. Larissa opted for a fresh white orchid one to match her dress and Colin, a traditional Maile ti leaf lei. This always is a special moment for our couples – it truly feels like an authentic Hawaiian experience and blessing!

Just Maui’d! – Maui Wedding Photography

We love hearing our newlyweds say “Just Maui’d” as they walk together for the first time as husband and wife! The aloha spirit of warmth and love is truly reflected in Larissa and Colin’s Maui wedding photos. We loved capturing them walking hand in hand into the Maui sunset with their friends and family at their side! A little playfulness in one group wedding photo is always a good idea!

This light! How we love shooting at this time of day! As soon as the sun begins to dip into the horizon, the soft light and clouds create a romantic ambiance that swept our couple away. Although, the moodiest skies often give way to the most beautiful of sunsets! We love how Larissa’s dress and veil glowed in the soft light. Her cream bouquet and lei were the perfect complements to the colorful sky that unfolded. Maui wedding photography at its finest!

We always get excited when we have a south shore wedding because the sunset never disappoints! The sky always puts on a gorgeous show for our newlyweds. Larissa and Colin kept taking a peek behind at the sunset in between their wedding photos! Shooting the couple on their own is one of our favorite parts of a wedding day. Their special connection and individual personalities shine through. We are always honored to capture these memorable moments that will last a lifetime – with a bit of Maui magic of course!
