We had the dreamiest season with the Rudometkin Ohana for their portraits on the beach! Karma, our company’s founder, was the family photographer in Maui for this special session. Karma met the Rudometkins when they were neighbors, so this photo session was truly between friends!

Karma had plenty to say about her awesome day with the Rudometkins: “The Rudometkins were our next-door neighbors and moved off the island 6 years ago as Jay is in the Coast Guard and they got re-assigned. They were such awesome neighbors and we were sad to see them go! Their kids are the same age as ours and they all got along so well when we had the chance to spend some time with them at the beach during their visit.” 

“Fun fact, Vika had her own photography business when she lived on Maui and was quite a talented photographer, she doesn’t do photography anymore, however. Jay eventually wants to move back to Maui and we sure hope that happens, we miss them!” Being a family photographer in Maui is truly a blessing because you get to capture images like these of families you know, and families who you’d like to know!  

We are OBSESSED with the gorgeous lighting in this shot! It’s the perfect aloha to a beautiful family!
