Our sweet family has many new adventures ahead! The Schlapkohls wanted to remember this special vacation by booking a Maui family portrait! Our close-knit family had always dreamed of taking a family vacation to Hawaii and wanted to create special memories before their son went off to college. We are so happy to have been able to photograph their entire family all together in a place they’ve dreamed about for a long time!
The Schlapkohls were looking for a beautiful beach setting with blue waters and light, soft sand, so Baby Beach in Lahaina was perfect! They wanted a location that would capture the island’s natural beauty and provide a stunning backdrop for their photos… the soft light filtering through the greenery is so flattering! And we love how they coordinated their outfit colors! Not matching exactly, but just right! Their easy, relaxed, beachy looks were perfect for a Maui family portrait!
The Schlapkohl family was a delight to work with! They were all excited to be on vacation and have the opportunity to create these special memories together. Their kids, Brady, Taylor, and Ava, are the best of friends and enjoyed every minute together before their big brother will be headed off to college soon! Our sweet family has a loving dynamic which made it easy for us to photograph their beach portraits!
