One of our favorite things as a photography company is being able to grow with our clients. Five years ago, we met the Simenstads on the shores of Southside Beach! We captured their family portraits in Maui while helping them commemorate milestones. It was an honor to see this lovely bunch again — especially since they had a new addition! When we first met the Simenstads, Jessica and her husband, Mike, celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. Then their daughter was only one. It’s crazy how time flies because their little girl is now six years old and has a three-year-old little brother! Although it’s been a while since we met this charming bunch, we still knew this session would be full of remarkable moments. Similar to when we first met them, the Simenstads were energetic and full of pure joy!
Why They Took Family Portraits in Maui
Our delightful group was excited to come back to Maui! They were looking forward to having more experiences in Hawaii with their daughter. In addition, they couldn’t wait to share this island with their son — who was visiting for the first time. Since they adore the collection of photos we captured in 2017, they knew they had to book another session with us! The Simenstads wanted some stunning candid and posed portraits. Above all, we can’t wait to see how they use these new pictures!
If you couldn’t tell from those bright smiles, the Simenstad family had a ton of fun during their Maui portraits session! One thing we love about these photos is their joyful expressions and happy laughs. With every snap of our camera, the Simenstads weren’t afraid to show off their toothy grins. However, our favorite thing is how adventurous they were! This gorgeous bunch stood on top of the lava rocks, ran along the shore, and sat in the sand. Based on their pictures, we can only imagine how venturesome their vacation was!
