We were so in love with this sweet couple who lives in Upcountry Maui. Kylee and Matt had not had portraits done since they were married and wanted some updated photos with their new baby, an adorable mini Australian shepherd puppy! We feel so lucky we got to be the ones to capture their updated Maui Couples Portraits!

The Setting

Po’olenalena Beach is a gorgeous long sandy beach in South Maui near the resort area of Wailea. It’s known for its perfect weather, golden sand, and beautiful sunsets. It didn’t disappoint on this evening, offering up the perfect backdrop for some fun and loving couples portraits in Maui.

We couldn’t get over Kylee’s beaming smile and when our photographer Moorea commented on it, she said her nickname is Smiley Kylee! A well-deserved name to be sure, she radiates warmth and kindness.

It was so fun watching their puppy try to get in on the action running in the waves with them and following them all over the beach. It’s so awesome when we get to photograph local Maui couples portraits because they can bring their pets. Our office is pretty obsessed with pups!
