Capturing Stephanie & Senad’s Maui Elopement Photography was truly unforgettable! We began our session beneath the endless canopy of the Honolua Jungle and ended on the towering cliffs of Ironwoods Beach. And the cherry on top is that this beautiful Special Day was coordinated by an untraditional wedding planner…
From the locales to the smaller details, it was our groom who took charge and orchestrated this dream wedding for his glowing bride. And we’re still fawning over how crazy sweet that is! Senad’s efforts paid off and then some. Not only was this Maui elopement ultra-romantic, but our couple was so easygoing and in-the-moment, that when rain threatened their beach ceremony, they happily hopped in the car, and we chased the sun all the way to Baby Beach! You don’t want to miss these shots!
Just a couple of miles shy of Maui’s northernmost point, the Honolua Jungle is one of the island’s hidden gems. The short trail is filled to the brim with tropical blooms and ancient trees and opens up to the glistening Honolua Bay.
We love the way the sunlight filters down through the mossy jungle and alights our beautiful couple.
Following the bridal portraits, the ceremony was planned to take place on the shores of Ironwoods, but with rain in the forecast, Stephanie & Senad made the wise decision to beach hop! They said “I do” on the golden sands of Baby Beach while under the warm Hawaiian sun.
And their extra photography time allowed us plenty of flexibility! We returned to Ironwoods for some jaw-dropping Maui couples portraits against the seascape… complete with a magical Hawaiian rainbow! Keep scrolling for all the gorgeous captures!
