Sharing The Island – The Vietmeier’s Maui Family Portrait
It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years since Kate and Mark said “I do” on the stunning shores of Maui. Time has flown by and their love has only grown stronger! They booked a Maui family portrait to commemorate sharing the island with their daughter! This year, they are back in Maui to celebrate a decade of marriage! And we were honored to capture this special moment!
They got married on Baldwin Beach through our sister company, Simple Maui Wedding, we captured some of the most beautiful moments of our lives. Those photos still take them back to the joy, excitement, and pure love of that perfect day. And now, with their daughter in tow, they can’t wait to revisit the same spot and create new memories!
Sunny Moments
They always said they’d return for their tenth anniversary. But they delayed the trip just a little bit this year, hoping to catch the whales in January. They will be sure to fit in some time for family fun, whales, beach walks, and photos of course!
The plan for their Maui family portrait session is simple: a few relaxed, natural shots of the three of them together, and then some sweet solo shots too. Their daughter Emme, now 7, might not have the patience for an extended shoot (who could blame her?), so we kept it quick and lighthearted! They wanted the focus to be on their family’s connection, with the beautiful Maui backdrop of ocean and mountains in the distance. And we think we nailed it!
