Justin and Celica’s Big Island wedding photography embodies love, light, and the aloha spirit. Despite their initial camera shyness, they entrusted us with the task of preserving their special day, and we were honored to do so.
The journey began with the excitement and anticipation of getting ready, as Justin and Celica eagerly prepared to see each other. Their love story blossomed during their undergraduate days in Berkeley, California, where they bonded over traditional Filipino dance, tennis, and even the occasional organic chemistry study session. But as fate had it, these two were destined to be together. Curious to see how their beautiful day unfolded? Keep reading!

Sharing A Private Moment
On their wedding day, they chose the stunning Fairmont Orchid as their venue, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the love of their closest friends and family. It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments that brought smiles to everyone’s faces! Celica made her way down to meet her soon-to-be husband Justin for a “first look”…
And his reaction when he turned around? Absolutely priceless! How could he not be? Celica was truly a vision in white with exotic blooms and a sweeping veil. We love shooting a “first look” as part of Big Island wedding photography coverage because it’s an inimate and private moment for the couple to bask in the sanctity and joy of the moment. It’s a quiet moment for just the two of them to connect before saying “I, do.” And for two people who say they are camera shy, they look so happy in these portraits as they read their words…

After their beautiful ceremony, we continued their Big Island wedding photography coverage nby capturing every smile, every embrace, and every tender moment shared between the newlyweds and their guests. But it was the beach photos that truly stole the show, as the palm trees swayed gently in the breeze and the setting sun painted the sky with hues of pink and gold.
Against this breathtaking backdrop, Justin and Celica radiated love and happiness, their bond shining brightly in every frame. How incredible are these backlit photos of our newlyweds on the beach? Simply breathtaking!

Celica and Justin had the most incredible sunset to end their evening! The combination of the lighting, the setting, the sound of the water, their love – all of it made for a magical day. It doesn’t get better than this!
Congratulations to the beautiful couple, and here’s to a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and countless more picture-perfect moments!
