One of our favorite parts of taking this couple’s Maui Beach Wedding Photography was getting to know the story of how they met. Kevin is an Army Officer and works as a Foreign Area Officer, so he has moved around every 2 years. He met Yogi in Beijing in 2014 while he was stationed there. After Kevin moved back to the US they had a 4-year long distance relationship until Yogi moved to the US in 2018. Within those four years, they traveled to lots of places together and Kevin proposed while they were on a trip to Taiwan in 2016! How awesome is that? It’s easy to see the love they share runs deep and we are confident they will have the most wonderful life together.

After an intimate ceremony with only their parents present, our newlyweds were ready to take wedding portraits in front of the setting sun! We especially love these bridals of Yogi with the magical Maui light glowing all around her. In a simple yet elegant wedding dress and short veil, she was an absolutely stunning bride! Her pastel pink and blue wedding bouquet was the perfect finishing touch to her wedding attire. So good! Kevin couldn’t keep his eyes off of her, and we don’t blame him! One thing’s for sure, this is a day they will both remember for the rest of their lives 🙂 . Thank you, Yogi and Kevin, for inviting Karma Hill Photography to capture the beauty and love of your wedding day!
