The Acevedo Ohana have visited the island five times, so what better way to capture their adventures than with Maui Family Portraits! And we just have to say, this fam was positively glowing! The shore of Ironwoods put on an epic show of untamed beauty. Which made the perfect backdrop for this sweet crew!

The Maui Family Portraits

We had the honor of capturing the Acevedos three years ago against the ocean of Napili Bay. Like many of us, for the Acevedos, the pandemic has meant social distancing and postponing plans, including their usual trip to our lovely island. Whenever they felt a longing for Hawaii came over, they would look over their earlier Maui Family Portraits and remember the joy of having your toes in the sand. 

We were thrilled to meet up with them once more and capture that joy all over again! We are all about this crew’s sunshine-filled wardrobe! Wearing a collection of pastels and neutrals, the Acevedo Family is simply glowing! We took advantage of the rough ocean to frame this sweet Ohana against Maui’s rugged beauty. 

Located on the west side of the island, Ironwoods Beach features untamed waves and plunging rocky cliffs. The wind was singing through the shore, and with some careful positioning, the effect was a collection of spectacular windblown, beachy hair shots! Speaking of great hair, how cute are these twins?! There’s nothing quite like framing a genuine moment between siblings.
