Austin created the perfect plan to pop the question to Michelle! Although there were a few rainy bumps along the way, this was a magical moment to witness and capture. We adore their Maui proposal portraits, and we know you will too!

This surprise was last Sunday, and there were sporadic showers this whole day. When Austin and Michelle arrived at the sandy shores, it was pouring. After waiting for several minutes, our lovely couple was about to leave, but the weather cleared up!

Austin and Michelle were on a peaceful walk along the shore when he got down on one knee. This moment was so heartwarming because you can see how surprised Michelle was — she was crying tears of joy! There was even a vibrant rainbow right above them, making this proposal feel as if it’s out of a fairytale! Most importantly, we can’t imagine this beautiful couple getting engaged any other way!

Why We Love Their Maui Proposal Portraits

Shortly after Michelle said yes, it started to rain again. Instead of waiting it out, our gorgeous couple rescheduled their photo session for another day. They made a great decision because this day had a breathtaking sunset! Above all, we like how smitten our cute couple is with one another in every shot. You can tell by their blissful glow and affectionate smiles they’re thrilled to be engaged!
