Let’s set the scene: Southside Beach, golden sun, the kind of breeze that plays with your hair in a movie-montage way. Now, enter the Awads, a family of five with contagious smiles, incredible energy, and a story that deserves to be on the cover of every family photo album from here to Honolulu.
This was their very first time in Hawaii, and what better way to commemorate the adventure than with a long-overdue Maui family portrait session! And mother, Wendy’s birthday, no less. (Talk about main character energy!)
Brian and Wendy, married for nearly 25 years, brought along their three incredible boys, Ahren (18), Rylan (15), and Rhys (13). The family hadn’t had professional photos taken in nearly eight years (yes, EIGHT), which made this already magical moment feel even more meaningful!
Joy In Our Hearts
The beach gave us soft skies, salty air, and glowing light. But it was the Awads’ connection that made this session sparkle.
From playful walking shots framed by lush greens and lava rock to those sweet, slightly goofy flexing poses, each photo captured the Awads’ easy bond and radiant joy. That kiss with their hands proudly showing “25” was equal parts romantic and iconic. And don’t even get us started on the dip-kiss moment. If romance were a sport, they’d be gold medalists!
