Okay, picture this: The ocean is doing that shimmery thing it does, DT Fleming Beach is serving up soft golden light like it’s its job (spoiler: it kind of is), and the Chan family is absolutely thriving in coordinated aloha prints. That’s the vibe.
Fresh off Ronny and Kay’s wedding at the Ritz-Carlton (can we say a collective congrats!?), the Chans were all smiles, all laughter, and totally ready for a Maui family portrait session that felt less like posing and more like celebrating. Karen, Gabriel, and their daughter Arianna (who is five years old and a certified sparkle of joy) joined Mom Anita and the newlyweds to capture a moment in time that was just right.
Quality Family Time
And let’s talk about these photos: we got everything. Big joyful group shots? Check. Sweet little family-of-three moments? Absolutely. Tender moments between Mom and granddaughter? Heart-melting. We even snuck in some sibling photos (Karen and Ronny! We see you!) and a few romantic snaps of the newlyweds that gave major “still glowing” energy.
They laughed, they posed, and they let the candids work their magic. Honestly, it was one of those sessions where everyone looked like the best version of themselves, relaxed, happy, and totally in their element. Maui will do that to you. DT Fleming Beach, with its rocks and sandy shorelines, gave us the perfect backdrop. It was a beautiful day, filled with joy, tropical prints, and a whole lot of love.
They totally let loose at the end of the portrait session, and that’s exactly the vibe we aim for in family portraits! With so much to celebrate and everyone gathered together, they created the perfect ending to an incredible session. These are definitely keepers.
