Flying in from their hometown of Vegas, the Baird Ohana wanted to capture their special vacation with Maui Family Portraits. Southside beach brought the great weather, we brought the artist’s touch, and the Bairds brought all the sweetness! Follow along for a day filled with sandy splashes and plenty of smiles!
The Maui Family Portraits Session
The morning was crisp and vibrant with just the right amount of tropical tradewinds. While they’ve been to Hawaii before, this is the Bairds’ first time to Maui. Mom Katie wanted to capture Maui Family Portraits that encapsulated everyone’s unique personality, with a few “just us” shots of Mom and Dad and plenty of group dynamics with the kiddos.
We were happy to oblige! One of our favorite aspects of Maui Family Portraits is coordinating the group combos with gorgeous backdrops. Southside Beach is the jack-of-all-trades when it comes to scenery, and we did not let the photo opportunities pass us by! From ocean scenes to leggy palms and twisted kiawe trees, this session had enough tropical pop to match our spectacular family!
On the topic of pop, how cute is this coordinated style by the Baird crew? We love the way the girls’ aqua shift dresses complement the hues of the ocean and bring vibrancy to the shore. Together, they tie in perfectly with Mom’s fiery orange tropical print, with the guys’ adding a dash of simple and classic.
