Nathan knew the time was right to ask KC to marry him, so he reached out to us to help him capture the moment with surprise Maui Proposal Portraits! Manelle, one of our talented staff photographers, hid out on the shore of Polo Beach with a spy-worthy zoom lens and captured all of the sweet and unforgettable moments!

The sun spread over the white sands of Polo Beach in a blanket of gold. With the sparkling sea in the backdrop, Nathan dropped to his knee in a beautiful moment of honesty and open-heartedness. KC didn’t hesitate to answer with a resounding “Yes”!

Following the surprise, we stepped from our hiding spot and introduced ourselves. We then spent the rest of the afternoon capturing Nathan and KC’s love and excitement against the stunning Maui scenery. 

Our Couple’s Story

Nathan and KC met in the ER, with Nathan working as a physician and KC as a pharmacist. These two love traveling and going on adventures together (if that’s any surprise!). And the biggest adventure is yet to come!

Nathan was so adorably nervous, that when we asked him what he was most looking forward to with this session, he replied “Being done with proposing, haha!” Well, the proposal is out of the way, and it went perfectly! How stunning are these shots? We love the genuine excitement and giddy happiness they were both beaming!

Congratulations, Nathan and KC! It was a joy spending the afternoon with you. We wish you all the best in the years ahead and a wedding day as beautiful and magical as your relationship! Hopefully, we see you again, and maybe you even decide on a Simple Maui Wedding! Either way, we send you both our fondest Aloha.
