It warms our hearts when we see such close-knit families like the Carlsons! Our loving family recently came to Maui to celebrate their parents and grandparents’ 50th wedding anniversary, so a Maui family portrait session seemed like the best idea to commemorate this special vacation! The sun was shining, and the waves were lapping on the shore…all the tropical elements were there to create a fantastic series of family photos. Maui’s natural beauty was the only thing needed for the Carlson’s portrait session!

First, we captured their family of four walking down the beach, laughing and playing in the sand. Their adorable boys love playing at the beach and exploring the natural surroundings…their parents and grandparents looked on with love and pride, as you can imagine! It was clear this was a special moment for everyone from every generation…and thankfully, we were there to capture every kiss, hug, and smile!

Family Foundation

It was endearing to see their extended family enjoying the tropical scenery of Southside Beach! This beach is a team favorite location simply because of its variety of tropical elements, from swaying palm trees, lava rocks, and a long stretch of golden sand. The Carlsons have been to Maui before, but that didn’t stop them from enjoying every minute of their Maui family portrait session! So often, life gets in the way of fully celebrating remarkable family moments like this, but the Carlsons took full advantage of everyone all together in paradise!
