Last visited in January of 2022 for their babymoon, this adorable family decided it was time to capture another chapter in their lives with a Maui family portrait session!

Since their last visit, a lot has changed for the Cohns. They are now celebrating six years of marriage with a 17-month-old son who has become the center of their world. Becoming a family is an incredible journey, and they couldn’t be more grateful for the little family they’ve created.

During their recent Maui adventure, their son, Cassian, had his first encounter with ocean sand. Although he wasn’t too sure about it at first, this was just the beginning of a lifetime of Hawaiian adventures. The Cohns look forward to introducing their son to all the wonders of the land and sea. They’ve even been teaching him about Hawaii through a Hawaiian-themed alphabet book, with words like “gosh,” “sea turtle,” “pineapple,” and “whale” becoming part of his vocabulary! How adorable is that!?

But the magic didn’t stop there! During their trip, something truly special happened. As they ventured into the ocean for the first time as a family, they were greeted by a friendly sea turtle right at their feet. The Cohns have a beautiful tradition of telling their son that his late grandfather now lives in Hawaii as a sea turtle. Allison couldn’t help but believe that her father was greeting his grandson on this very trip. It’s moments like these that make Hawaii feel even more special to them!

This Maui family portrait session was not only their first family trip to Hawaii since their son’s birth but also their first opportunity to have professional photographs taken. Dressed in vibrant aloha attire, the Cohns looked absolutely stunning. With beaming smiles and overflowing love, they shared sweet and tender moments with their adorable son.

It’s clear that this family had an amazing time during their session at Southside Beach. Their joyful spirits were contagious, and the photographs captured the essence of their love and happiness.
