The Eshelmans are a blended family of seven, kind of like the Brady Bunch only MUCH cuter! With a daughter going away to college this year and other kids soon to follow, this might be their last big Spring Break celebration as a unit for some time. So the Eshelmans decided to capture the special moment with Maui Beach Portraits, and we were thrilled to deliver!
We met up with the Eshelmans on Southside Beach in Wailea. With lush tropical backdrops and expansive ocean views, this shore is perfect for capturing dynamic and fun family moments! Mom Erin loves the natural and spunky feeling of candid shots, so we were sure to balance the guided poses with simply letting this spectacular family do their thing! We could not get enough of their smiles and wild fun!
We loved how they tied together with complementary hues! Mom in lemon yellow and dad in cobalt, with the kids in soft tones of blue and white. The combination makes the perfect splash against the white sand beach!
Later in their Maui Beach Portraits session, we split up the families to highlight their own unique relationships. With Hanna about to embark on a new journey of textbooks and academia, we were sure to capture this senior’s glow against the glistening Maui ocean for her own micro senior portraits!
