We closed out another week by meeting with one of our local families and taking their Maui beach portraits! The weather was flawless, the sunset was exquisite, and everyone’s smiles were bright. Keep scrolling to see for yourself!

The Gurley’s are a charming bunch of five who call this island home. Shannon, her husband, Mike, and their three children felt they were way overdue for new family photos. And they couldn’t have chosen a better time to get magical moments captured! Most importantly, these pictures are full of delightful memories they made at this South Maui spot!

Why We Love Their Maui Beach Portraits

This bunch had a gorgeous sunset behind them! The fluffy clouds, brilliant sun, and sparkling ocean created an enchanting backdrop. We adore the charming expressions they’re giving us in every shot! Above all, our favorite thing is how much fun they’re having! You can see how their joyful energy made these photos come out so lighthearted and lively.

Southside Beach set the scene for these photos! This location was perfect because it provided a variety of stunning backdrops. The golden sand, dramatic lava rocks, cerulean water, and vivid greenery are a few we took advantage of during this session! You couldn’t have asked for better weather; we had a breathtaking sunset painting sky when the sun went down!

This Maui beach portrait session was so much fun! Our cheerful bunch wasn’t afraid to explore this spot for backgrounds or stand on top of the lava rocks. They had ecstatic attitudes, and you can see it in every shot. Above all, we could tell they were savoring their time together!
