The James family consists of Rachel, her husband, and their four sons ranging from ages twelve to twenty-five. This local couple thought it was time to take new photos because their third boy was leaving for college. Although these four fellows don’t like taking pictures — they do it for their mom!

These boys may not enjoy taking photos, but you can’t tell from these shots! Our lovely family arrived at the shoreline with calming smiles and relaxed energy. Most importantly, they dressed perfectly for this session! Their attire is beachy and sophisticated. You can see how the cool tones in their outfits complement the natural palette surrounding them. Southside Beach was the location for this photoshoot, and this backdrop was perfect for our delightful family! You can see how the cerulean ocean, vivid greenery, and striking lava rocks create a picturesque scene. It wasn’t clear weather, but the heavy cloud coverage made every Maui beach portrait look enchanting! The deep shades of blue painting the sky balance effortlessly with the vibrant colors of the beach.
