Heavenly Mist – Juliana & Ted’s Maui Maternity Portraits
Few things are more magical than Maui Maternity Portraits. Juliana and Ted flew out to the island for a babymoon before the arrival of their bouncing baby girl. And what a babymoon it was! Ironwoods Beach brought a heavenly mist to the session, blessing the parents-to-be with a pastel rainbow and soft lighting. This photoshoot stole the show and our hearts!
The Maui Maternity Portraits
We met up with Juliana and Ted on the shore of Ironwoods. Located on the coast of Kapalua, Ironwoods features dramatic cliffs and rocky embankments. Maui brought her famous tradewinds for the session, and Juliana was dressed to rock it! Wearing a beige gown with cute ruffle accents, the fabric came alive in the breeze! We loved how epic and flowing these shots came out.
Juliana was the perfect model, ready to lean into the Maui weather. She was simply glowing. And on the topic of glowing, how sweet is Ted? These two rocked the photoshoot and are going to rock being parents!
Our Couple’s Story
Juliana and Ted married eight years ago and frequently visit the islands. Part Hawaiian and Japanese, Juliana lived in Oahu for a short time to learn and be closer to her heritage. And now these awesome parents plan to continue the tradition of returning to Hawaii as a family of three, teaching their little one with each new visit.
Juliana says she dreamed of having her maternity photos taken in Hawaii. And it seemed as if the island was ready for this moment, decorating with golden lighting, soft rainbows, and a heavenly mist.
