Juliano and Anel’s Maui proposal portrait was a moment straight out of a dream! For Juliano, it was his first time visiting Hawaii. But Anel had been a couple of times but never to Maui! What better way to make their first trip to this stunning island unforgettable than with a surprise proposal on a serene, sunny morning at Po’olenalena Beach?
Originally from Brazil, Juliano moved to Los Angeles three years ago, where he met Anel. Anel’s Mexican heritage brings a shared Latino connection to their love story. Their relationship is filled with humor, warmth, and common interests—whether debating the true origin of certain cuisines, geeking out over math (she’s a math teacher, and he’s a game developer), or cozying up at home for video games. After two years of dating and a few months of living together, Juliano decided it was time to take their relationship to the next level.
The proposal was so special! As the gentle morning sun reflected off the calm waters, Anel turned around to find Juliano on one knee, holding a ring and asking the question that would change their lives forever. Her surprise and joy were palpable, and the moment was as beautiful as their love story!
Po’olenalena Beach provided a serene and stunning backdrop for their special day. The soft waves, golden sand, and radiant sunshine set the stage for a proposal filled with love, laughter, and the start of a new chapter.
