We recently had such a fun time photographing Kate and Oscar’s Kauai couples portrait! The couple was celebrating their first wedding anniversary with a belated honeymoon in Hawaii. It’s never too late to celebrate! We could feel the love and excitement as soon as we met them at the beach on a tranquil morning. It was so peaceful, as you’ll see!
Despite a few sprinkles, the morning was calm and perfect for an intimate portrait session. Kate and Oscar didn’t let the rain dampen their spirits – after all; there wouldn’t be rain without rainbows in Hawaii! (It added to the romance of it all!) They were both so happy and relaxed, enjoying each other’s company and making the most of their romantic getaway…

Their eyes sparkled with joy and affection, and they looked so comfortable like they had been together forever. Clearly, their friendship had blossomed into a beautiful love story, and we were honored to capture it on camera! Kate was really excited to show Oscar the island since it was his first time visiting…
The tropical setting of Anini Beach provided the perfect backdrop for their couple’s portraits. It felt like a slice of paradise just for the two of them, surrounded by lush greenery and a calm blue ocean. We loved how they brought happy and warm energy, like holding each other close and laughing together – it really accentuated how meaningful this vacation was and made the photos even more special!
