The theme was all about tropics and romance for Kelly & Andrew’s Kauai couples portraits. And once again, the island of Kauai has us floating on cloud nine–we can’t stop fan-girling over this locale! With scenery like this, there’s always an opportunity to make photography magic!

And speaking of fan-girling, we’re entranced with this bubbly local Kauai couple! Together for almost 10 years and with 3 boys in the nest, Kelly and Andrew rarely get the opportunity to capture the special moments between just the two of them. So we were beyond honored to help them create sentimental Hawaii beach portraits that are 110% frame-worthy! Keep swiping for all the tide-splashing fun!

We’re head-over-heels about the soft sunlight Kauai casts on its northern beaches! The subtle fading of the background accentuates the back-lighting of our beautiful couple and causes the rocky shoreline to pop against the rolling hills along the horizon.

These shots are all about body-art and body-language!

Kelly and Andrew had a blast kicking up the shallow water at Anini Beach. With shady trees all the way down the shore and a wide crescent reef, the tide here is almost always perfect for snorkeling or floating… or capturing spectacular action shots like these!
