After Ken & Alyssa’s graduation from Baldwin High School, Ken’s mom gifted these two with their very first Senior portraits on Maui! These shots turned out to be one-part grad celebration photos and one-part couple photo session!
We met this awesome young couple during sunset hour at our favorite Upcountry locale: Thompson Road. The purple Jacarandas were in full bloom — kinda like these two! With so much potential at their fingertips, Alyssa plans to go out of state to study to become a personal trainer and Ken will stay on the island. He’s thinking of becoming a carpenter! Whatever career path they end up following, we know they’ll be building something great!
With the sun’s rays cascading over the mountainside, the greenery lit up in vivid emerald and created a soft, luminous back-light.
How sweet are these two! We love how both Ken & Alyssa chose outfits beneath their gowns to reflect their personal style. It made their senior portraits on Maui run extra smooth. Their outfit changes were like Superman transformation scenes: off with the gown and good to go!
Can we just pause for a second and call attention to these awesome shots? How many couples get to twirl together on the world’s most beautiful mountain while watching the sun setting over the Pacific all while a Jacaranda gently sways in the background?? What a great moment! And there’s plenty more where these came from!
