Our Monday started with us getting to know a lovely bunch on the shores of Paradise Cove Beach! The Knittle family’s Oahu beach portraits are joyful, lighthearted, and relaxed. The Knittles are a charming family of five consisting of Grace, her husband, Scott, and their three kiddos! Their two sons and daughter are nine, thirteen, and fifteen. Our delightful group was vacationing on the island from Dublin, Ohio. They were visiting Grace’s sister — who’s lived in Hawaii for ten years. However, the Knittles have only been to Oahu once before this getaway!
The Serene Oahu Beach Portraits
Our stunning group was staying at the Marriott in Ko Olina — making Paradise Cove Beach the perfect location! In every shot, you can see the fine sand, azure water, and lofty palm trees surrounding our beautiful family. Then we like how the striking lava rocks added variety to every breathtaking portrait. Above all, we adore how impeccable the morning weather was! Spotted clouds covered the sky, so the sun shined vibrantly on the seaside. This light naturally enhanced the brilliance of every shot!
The Knittles were looking forward to getting a few gorgeous family pictures! Before their Oahu beach portraits session, they told us they weren’t good at capturing memories themselves. Since they’re a busy bunch, they usually try to take professional portraits every few years. In addition, the Knittles said they’ve never taken photos while on vacation! We were excited for them to have Hawaii’s natural beauty as the backdrop instead of Ohio.
