Back in March 2005, the Mapes honeymooned in Maui, starry-eyed and soaking up all the island magic. They promised themselves they’d come back—maybe after five years, maybe ten—but as life tends to do, it filled up fast. Work. Kids. Soccer games. Dance recitals. PTO meetings. Blink, and suddenly two decades have passed.
But the dream? It never went away.
And this year, they made it happen.
They returned to Maui—this time with the best souvenirs of all: their kids, who were experiencing the island’s magic for the very first time!
