The Markerts are a stunning family of seven visiting the island from Des Moines, Iowa. However, this trip was a meaningful getaway for this bunch. Reghan’s mom has been battling cancer and recently received some not-so-good news. Since her mother has always wanted to visit Hawaii, they decided to take a last-minute trip to Maui! Above all, we’re glad we could take their portraits and be part of this significant adventure. We know these memories will forever be priceless to the Markert family!
The Memorable Maui Beach Portraits
During the Markert’s getaway, Reghan decided to surprise her parents with a family portraits session! As soon as this bunch arrived for their shoot, you could tell they were ready to enjoy their beach time. Then, they were lively and enthusiastic when we started snapping pictures! Most importantly, we love how they’re showing off their radiant smiles and joyful facial expressions. You can tell they’re relishing these moments in paradise together. In addition, we hope these pictures will remind them of all the great times they had during their Hawaiian adventure!
DT Fleming Beach Park set the scene for these Maui portraits, and we took advantage of every landscape! First, we captured pictures on the sandy shorelines with the cerulean waves and striking lava rocks. After, we went to the grassy area and used the lush greenery as another background. Then, since the sun was setting, there was a warm glow — naturally enhancing the brilliance. You can see how the scenery and weather made every shot look enchanting and dreamy!
