We had the best time taking the Wong’s Maui Family Portraits, especially since this session was an important part of their trip! Mom and Dad had been here before without the kids, then brought each kid by themselves on a previous trip to Hawaii, so they were excited to finally have their first big trip as a family. And we loved being part of documenting it on camera!
With outfits from Nordstrom that Julia planned, they had a beautiful evening that complimented the colors they wore. The kids were bribed with gummy bears throughout the session to show us their biggest smiles 🙂 . Their favorites were the red and yellow gummy bears, lol.
Full of Personality
Cameron absolutely loves the beach and charged for the waves almost every chance he had. He even got to swim a little at the end of the session and he loved it! He was still all smiles even after getting out of the water soaked and wet.
Little Avery showed off how much she loves princess by changing into the cutest purple dress! She twirled on the beach and walked carrying her dress with her fingertips by the tulle. She says she loves ALL the disney princess and doesn’t have just one favorite! (Mom is amazed by how much she’s a girly-girl while Mom grew up as a tom-boy.) Can anyone else relate?
Taking these Maui Family Portraits was truly a special experience. And we absolutely loved how Dad was recording the in-between moments with his little video recorder! He too likes to dabble and document his family moments through both photo and video!
So we are honored the Wong’s chose us to be their Maui Photographer! And seriously can’t wait to get together with them again sometime. Until then, Warm Aloha!
