The Ramsey family made having a large family portrait look easy. When we saw 7 kids we got a little nervous about being able to get that perfect shot. We always want a few shots with all the kids looking at the camera and this family did so well! It’s a testament to the parents who instilled such grace in their kids. You could feel the family bond with everyone looking out for each other. We could tell they truly enjoy their time together as a family.
Not only did they do excellent for their portraits, but they also did great at two other gorgeous locations. We began their Maui family portrait session at the Honolua jungle where they were surrounded by Maui’s lush verdant vegetation. This portrait location really gives you the jungle feel and is completely picturesque.
We loved how it looked like they were in such a remote jungle it would require a long hike. This location actually it’s far off the beaten path and only a short drive from their next location, Ironwoods beach.
Ironwoods beach is known for its epic scenery, beach cliffs, and epic sunset lighting. The sea cliffs at Ironwoods create one of the most expansive family portrait backgrounds in Maui.
We feel so lucky to have had the chance to spend time with this dynamic family. It was our pleasure getting to capture their special family time in Maui.
