Cloudy sky – no problem! We had the pleasure of capturing The Miller’s Kauai family portrait recently! Unfortunately, it was an overcast evening, but that didn’t stop our lovely bunch from smiling! They brought the sunshine! Please keep reading to take a peek at their wonderful evening together!
Our beautiful family were real troopers! They originally planned a morning shoot, but it was drizzling, as it usually does in Kauai! Thankfully, the rain stopped in the evening, and our beautiful family was happy to be on the beach. The filtered light made for gorgeous photos!
Originally from Colorado, our sweet family had been to Maui and Oahu before, but this was their first time in Kauai! Leah was super shy, but she followed her big brother’s lead! We were delighted to spend the evening with them at Shipwrecks Beach! This is a fantastic location for a family portrait in Kauai because it has a lot of variety of tropical backgrounds and it’s close to the resort area!

Julie and Scott’s beautiful children, Ryan, 10, and Leah, 4, were so happy to be back in Hawaii again! They love to play in the waves and the sand – when it’s not raining, of course!
We love the soft pastel colors they chose for their family portrait session! It matched perfectly with the dusky sky blues and sand! They were so pleased to have their portrait taken on a Hawaiian vacation finally!
